If you havn't been watching the rossi is up to $2940. You can purchase a new one from the catalog for $3500. I figured $2500 was a fair price, unless you needed a lot of barrels.

When the eBay price gets so close to the price of a new one, I think I'd hold off bidding and look into the new one.

Remember that this horn:
1. has four barrels
2. has the Rossi Bb mechanism (+$200)
3. has the Ab/Eb key (+$100)
4. is available immediately

I've always been curious about these horns. Hard for me to shell out those kinds of bucks without ever having seen them in person. Does the WW&BW have a demo model on hand?

Congratulations Ken! I sat back and watched you win the auction and said YES! when you got it! Value is not all in the dollar figure, and you are right the Rossi was a fair price. I do not think you will regret your purchase in any way!

Thanks Allison. Now the only trick will be getting it delivered from Germany. I'll keep you posted.
