 Sutermeister Cappricio

I'm going to be playing this piece for a general audience and I would like to be able to introduce the piece in such a way as to help the people understand it better. I thought of having the audience picture a puppy chasing a butterfly through a garden. Any other suggestions,or should I just shut up and let the music speak for itself.

my rendition of this piece is more like an elephant chasing a butterfly through a garden

I think the general audience can grasp Cappricio.
It's very listenable.
Just play. There is something very exciting about surprising your audience a bit.

I would not introduce it.
Enjoy, it's a great piece!!!
