Both Firefox and Opera browsers are blocking access to woowind.org. ¿Is anyone else having this problem?

I had this problem with firefox. I thought it was a local problem.
My firefox is set up to use DNS over HTTPS. Whatever DNS server firefox uses for this seems to have forgotten where this website lives on the internet.

I fixed this in the privacy settings by telling firefox not to use this method for this website, but instead to use the general DNS server (which should be automatically set up on your device.)

My firefox is set up to use DNS over HTTPS (which is a privacy/security setting.) DNS tells your device where things are on the internet. It seems like the DNS over HTTPS has forgotten where this particular website lives on the internet.
I changed a setting in firefox privacy settings, telling firefox to use the fallback DNS if the default lookup fails. It worked for me. I won't be distressed if someone with more IT knowledge than I elaborates or corrects this. But, I'm quite certain the problem does not depend on what kind of ligature you use.

Yes, the URL for the very top page of the site is http://test.woodwind.org/ if you're trying to access the BBoard without a link of any kind.
I've just gotten in with four different browsers (one of them Firefox), so if the URL isn't your problem you might try flushing your cache.

I used the Opera browser's VPN to access archive.is which opens the site. There was also a Microsoft update for Windows 10 the night before that might have caused some mischief.

I'm completely lost.
Elmo, what are you typing, or what is auto-completing, in the address window of your browser? What response are you getting? Do you have the password you need to be able to post? Where is the address "archive.is" that you say opens the website? How are you using a VPN to access it?
And Chris, click "allow" at the top of what window?

Firefox on Windows 11 opens in a window... To the left of the address there is a small box containing "not secure" and below that another box with a button labelled "Allow". My understanding is that the default action is to be wary of http sites rather than https, so access has to be explicitly allowed.

OK, that brings me around on the "allow" button. My Internet Security butts in anytime I try to access a "non-secure" site, but after asking it lets me through without interference on subsequent accesses.
Maybe elmos's Opera's not finding a security certificate (http://) is causing the problem, but there should be some direct escape past it. I just tried Opera myself, by just typing test.woodwind.org and I got an error saying it couldn't connect. Then I tried typing in the entire URL http://test.woodwind.org and the home page came right up. So, I guess Opera's default protocol if you don't specify something else is https://, and when it encounters a site that lacks a secure socket, it blocks the connection.
Elmo, if you haven't succeeded yet, try the link above or typing it in by hand *with* the protocol included (http://) and see if that works.
