Anyone who's been around here longer than 10 years knows that my posts tended to be about repertoire. So I come with a question I'm trying to clear up in that regard.
The Paris Conservatory has, in decades past, used a few times Jacques Charpentier's Concerto No. 10. That's all fine and well, easy to find - Alphonse Leduc still publishes it.
But on the cover of the piece, it states that the edition published by AL is only the first movement! Does anyone know what happened to the other two movements?

This could suggest that they may not have been published or are not widely distributed. In such cases, it’s possible that the movements were either not completed by the composer, not published due to various reasons, or they might be held in private collections or archives. For a definitive answer, you might consider reaching out to the publisher, Alphonse Leduc, or the Paris Conservatory, as they may have more detailed records or archives related to this work.

It would also suggest that perhaps it’s just a one movement work?
