 disinfectant liquid on grenadilla

I recently cleaned the barrel of my grenadilla clarinet with disinfectant, also from the inside of the barrel and after that let water run through it. I'm not sure if this was a good idea, can the disinfectant damage the wood?

What type or brand of disinfectant did you use ? Some can clean the instrument and other can dissolve it.
