My teacher said he heard about a device you hold between your lips and squeeze in (against a spring action that forces it out) to give your embochure muscles a workout. Does anyone know where I can find buy of these?

I have no idea. What's cheaper though, is holding a pencil w/ your mouth using your embochure and seeing how long you can hold it there. It probably does the same thing as any other contraption. Besides...you don't squeeze the mouthpiece real tight when you play, do you? You just hold it there. You do'nt need any "device" to do that for you. just use any item that you can use your embochure with. That's what I would do, anyway.

The pencil thing will work--also just lots of practice on your instrument. Nothing better. Just add an extra hour to your already busy schedule.

Flute players often use a large button on a string. Place the button beween your lips and teeth and pull on the string to strengthen the lips.
My own personal favorite lip workout is to just play your horn. The right muscles get exercised and you will be doing more than just strengthening your lip.
