JLV Clarinet Ligature hack

There may only be a few using this ligature with plastic reeds but this could still be helpful.

I've found that the JVL by nature of its design can wobble significantly around the pivot points that are the adjustable contact points. Cane reeds have natural friction keeping them in place when adjusting and tightening the JLV. However, the plastic material of Legere reeds allows them to slip easily across a mouthpiece's table. There have been many occasions tightening the JLV when the reed was positioned where I wanted it and then the JLV wobbled and the reed wound up two millimeters past the tip of the mouthpiece.

This I believe was made worse by the small contact point created by the small rubber bumpers within the "cups" of the adjustable screws. I have found that you can place foreshortened, domed, vinyl screw covers over these contacts and that provides more stability and less wobble.

One other minor change that I made was to use a BG Tradition tightening screw in place of the one provided. I did have to file it down a bit to clear the nut when/if the ligature is close to being fully tightened.
