I recently bought a Selmer Omega clarinet. How good are they? Are they a pro or intermediate model? What are your comments on them.
Thanks

Is it the USA or Paris model? They are different.

The Paris Omega is a pretty good entry-level professional clarinet. The USA one is not as good and has a very poor reputation and resale value. The Paris Omega has quite a nice tone and "feel" to it.

I recently looked at - checked out a new Omega alto [US, I believe] and compared it to my Mark VI, not as good [as expected] but quite tolerable for medium-to-large hands for fingering "ease" IMHO. Any comments ? please. Don

My friend bought a Paris model and I got to try it. I found that it was a little too heavy and bulky
