I recently bought a clarinet and it says LaChapelle on it. It also says made in Germeny. I was wondering if anyone knew about this brand? I recently started playing the Clarinet and it seems to be a good instrument. It's wood and the case and the cork grease in it is very old. I was wondering. so if you could, please respond.

Not listed in The New Langwill Index ...
Which is a shame since my great-gradmother's maiden name was Lachapelle.

It might be a "model" name used by Martin Freres of France [like LaMonte], I have a vague recollection of having seen one, among a number of M F's. Don
