Has anybody tried Gonzalez Classic clarinet reeds and would like to comment on them? Apparently they have been available for a couple of years, but I've only just noticed that they exist (perhaps they haven't been available in Australia till recently). I tried a search on this forum, but didn't find any comments.
Thanks!

I've been using Gonzalez regular cut reeds for a little over a year. I've used strengths 3.5, 3.25 and 2.75. (I've used a few different mouthpieces over the last couple of years in search of 'the one'). I find Gonzalez reeds to be very consistent out of the box as well as from one box to the next. They last longer than other reeds I've used before. (Vandoren blue box, Pilgerstorfer, Luethner, and Rico Grand Concert)
I've also used a brand called Primo, which I believe are a low cost reed made by the same company. The Primo reeds are decent but not as good quality as the Gonzalez regular cut reeds.
Hope this helps.
