Hi folks,
I was just wondering if anybody has information on the Jupiter Parisienne clarinet, model number JCL-931. Specifically when it came out and how long it was being produced for. So far what I have gathered is that it was Jupiter's top end offering at one point, I'm just not sure how long ago that point was.
I thought I'd ask as I picked one up some time ago secondhand for around the equivalent of $80 USD, and got it fixed up by a technician. It's been sitting around but with my Backun Alpha out for repairs I've been using it a lot more and it's been an absolute gem. It has a nice sweet, focused tone, especially when paired with the Pereira 3d barrel I have, and a really nice feel blowing into it (perhaps I'm referring to the resistance?), although being a wood horn, it's a fair bit heftier than I'm used to.
Anyways, if anybody knows a thing or two about this model they can share then that would be great. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they've been around since the early '90s, but were largely overlooked as more people bought established makes rather than a then relatively newcomer to the market who were mainly known for making student level instruments rather than wooden clarinets.
