Anyone know much about this clarinet? I'd love to learn about its history. It's marked "Rampone Milano Brevettato" on the bell and two main sections, which I know is the maker, city, and Italian for patent. It's wooden, even the mouthpiece, which was made in France (can't make out the maker).
A recent acquisition for $70 plus shipping, I'm really liking the little clarinet. It's my first non-Bb clarinet and my first non-Boehm clarinet. Despite needing new corks (I flossed two as a quick fix), playing on a cut down Bb reed, and learning the new fingering system (not too hard due to playing sax), I love my time playing it.
Serial # looks to be 08XXX
