HI there,
I thought some of you might be interested in this podcast (2 parts, a link for part one below). An interesting interview, and both episodes have some great audio clips of him performing at Chamber-fest Cleveland....

The first episode has a complete performance of "Abyss of the birds", and the 2nd episode has Frank Cohen playing the Mozart K622 slow mvt and the slow mvt from the Brahms Quintet. Some stunningly original interpretations- I've heard/played all that music 100 times and hear Cohen doing things I'd never thought of or heard before....

I heard Frank Perform the Morzart Clarinet Quintet at an ICA convention a few years ago——his slow movement brought tears to my eyes. He is a remarkable musican.

It's amazing eh? And notice how he talks about music without once mentioning what barrel or mouthpiece he uses.... He's about MUSIC
