He was here recently for a period clarinet and flute workshop.
I just finished a clarinet last minute for someone to play at his funeral...
Attached photos of one of the weirdest clarinets I've seen. Not the type, it's just a regular Albert system G clarinet and made by Tutz... or actually Tut. Complete coincidence, I had it here while the player I mentioned was also here one time. He plays Tutz clarinets and knows him. He saw the clarinet and said he's never seen one like it from Tutz.
A few months later he was here again. He visited Tutz and told him about this clarinet. He didn't make it. Apparently an apprentice made it and stamped Tutz's name on it... almost. The impression was that he wasn't supposed to do that... so in my imagination he stamped the name and heard Rudolf Tutz come in... so didn't have time to stamp that last Z.

Hi Clarnibass,
Do you make period clarinets? What did you make for Rudolph's funeral?
The Albert system looks normal to me except for the incomplete logo (obviously) and the boxwood (?) rings. Can you think of any reason why those rings would be there?

No, I meant I just finished repairing a clarinet for them.
The wood rings are a repair the owner did himself because of a crack.
