Come to see I've got a loose ring on a plastic Yamaha I just bought.
When doing a search I see a number of solutions for wood Clarinets.
That said how would you tighten up a ring on a plastic clarinet?
is it possible the plastic Tenon has shrunk some?

I'd just put a smear of contact adhesive on the inner surface of the ring and push it into place.

Depends a bit on how loose.
I quite like a thin paper shim, which can be easily adjusted for best fit.
For very loose I would tend to use epoxy, which will also fill the gap and provide support.

  some good info on youtube
I covered the tenon with a piece of mylar from a balloon and reseated the tenon and cut off the excess. This worked very well and also took care of my loose Lyre
