Anybody know where I can buy some inexpensive plastic reed holders like the Rico reeds are sold in? Just a simple plastic holder-nothing fancy- to hold reeds straight.

How about Vandoren holders? How many do you want?

Maybe a dozen, to store reeds in to get rid of the soft white plastic sleeves some come in. I keep them in plastic bags with a sponge in a medicine bottle and a hygrometer. Most have the original hard clear plastic holders like Rico but others have white plastic sleeves they slide into. Looking for some inexpensive empty holders like Rico.

If you send me your address by private email (my email address is in my profile here), and if Vandoren holders fill the bill, I can send you a dozen or so.

I'd like to help, but I've always found my Vandoren reeds to long outlive the 10,000 year half life of the plastic containers that they come in. Plus, has anyone actually come across a bad Vandoren reed such that they'd have more reed containers than reeds?

I just recycled my plastic D'Addario reed holders last week, when I opened a new box of reeds and added them to my reed cases. I always recycle those little plastic things. If I had them still, I would be happy to mail them out; sorry!
