I've heard fantastic things about Yehuda Gilad as a performer and a teacher, but while there are plenty of ready available videos of him teaching on Youtube and the like, nowhere can I find any recordings/videos of him playing clarinet. Would anyone here know of any performances that I could view online? I would like to hear him as a player as well as a teacher, as I'm very impressed by the latter.

I also have been trying to find videos or sound files of his playing, I have had no luck.
Can anyone help?

I see Guy Yehuda on YouTube playing the Corigliani Concerto, but I don't see Yehuda Gilad playing it. Gilad is active as a conductor and directs the performances on two fine CD recordings, "Music of Paul Chihara" and "If You Love for Beauty" with soprano Susan Cooke.

As a student in Paris years ago I remember studying briefly with a very high name clarinet player...alas no one heard him play for years but we all went under the assumption they still played.

Not to worry, Donald. Not long ago, when I first posted about the youtube video with Sam Day demonstrating the Yamaha CSVR clarinet, I actually imagined that the new model came with a right hand extension for the C#/G# key as a standard feature. A list member correctly said that he couldn't find that animal no matter how hard he looked. Guess I wanted to see it so bad I actually did!
