My daughter's clarinet fell from the football stands. (Ugh) I'm taking it in for repair tomorrow, but she was trying to practice today for an audition this week. She says she can't play F-Bflat. High C or above, or anything below F is fine. I realize it's hard without seeing her instrument, but is there anything we can adjust on our own, based on her description of what she can't play? Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this is an ignorant post....just thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

You're best leaving it in the current state it's in and taking it to your repairer for them to sort out rather than risk doing any more damage - especially as you're not sure what the problem is.

Could be some easy adjustments. Bent keys. But don't mess with this yourself. If lucky a repairman can fix it without much effort and not much cost. Lets hope for no cracks.
