About a year ago I purchased a Buffet Festival that I am extremely happy with. However, it had its left hand Ab/Eb lever and post removed by the previous owner who discarded it. So my question is: is it possible to order a replacement key and post for it? I've talked to a few repairman in the area and they would be willing to install the key, but they didn't know any other way to get one than contacting Buffet directly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why not contact Buffet? If anybody has it, they will.

The problem is replacing the pillar as a pre-drilled one may not line up properly, so that can only be done by the factory or someone with all the necessary jigs and equipment.

You can try Buffet directly or even better try a few Buffet dealers and there's a good chance at least one or some of them can get it.
Re tghe post alignment, the accuracy is usually close enough that it should be realtively easy for any good repairer to install a pre-drilled post accurately even if it doesn't completely align "automatically" when threading it all the way.
