Dieter Klocker is one of the "Gods" of German clarinet playing (same generation as Clark Brody, Robert Marcellus, Harold Wright).

Yes, Paul.....however, I have heard better from Dieter. In this recording, I find his technique not as sharp as it should be and too much finger sound in the legato passages. His sound is supurb, but in this offering he is too ridged musically. Frankly, before I scolled down to the credits, I thought, "Hm..this is not much better than a good college clarinet major." But then, *what do I know.*

Well, I found Klocker to run a little "hot and cold" myself. But he IS the dude most of our more recent favorite German players studied with.
For my money Leister is the best, but many have commented that his is NOT a traditional German sound. Since I grew up with Leister/Berlin records I had no other frame of reference (Germanically speaking), but I will defer to the expertise of others with broader listening experience.

There are multiple recordings of Duo but it would be hard to find something better then Klocker.. here is one of the typical examples you hear on radio:
