Question about 2nd mvt m84 after solo
entrance suggestions on 3 sixteenth note
pick up entrance. Ok to think of this as
triplet figure on beat 2? If speed is brisk??
Thanks.

To quote John Yeh, this excerpt should be "Joyously rhythmic"... so no.

In any serious ensemble audition there are more than clarinet players listening to you. They only will care if you match what's on the page rhythmically, and if you don't it's an immediate negative mark upon your score. They won't know "traditions" or "tricks".... Anyways, if you play it like a triplet, then it seriously compromises the "rhythmic" portion of this quote, not to mention the despair brought upon the "joy".
