Boy do I feel stupid! Remember when I said I didn't like doing seraches because I got so many hits and they were hard to read (and then you blasted me)? Well I had been searching the KLARINET archives! When people would post "seach the archives" I thought that is what they meant. I never noticed the little search button right here on the message board itself. I just tried searching for K10M mouthpieces here on the board and what a difference! A lot less hits AND the entries were much easier to read. DUH!!!

The archives are larger - I do often say "search the archives" since much of the material is mopre in depth than here (the archives have a much longer history). Like anything, you have to weed the wheat from the chaff. Keep refining your searches when you use the archives (and the BBoard) until you get a reasonable number of hits.

Shelly -
The "Search" button on this page searches everything that's been posted on this bulletin board since Mark switched software early in 1999.
The "Search the Klarinet Archives" button on the Home page searches everything in the Klarinet mailing list archives -- a completely separate and much larger database going back to 1995.
Mark - It would be nice if you could set up a combined search option from a single query....
Best regards.

Ken,
There's actually a rationale on why the searches are separate - it's because the two systems are totally distinct ;^)
Perhaps I should build a portal some day that would combine all 3 of the searches (BBoard, Klarinet, and Sneezy) - but can you imagine the number of hits it'd generate? And people complain as it is with the number of hits they get.
