I would like to get opinions on books about clarinet technique and reed refitting. I have a teacher finally but the short time we spend together does not allow me to get all my questions answered this very minute.

There are several good drill books available on the market today. All of these books address technique, especially when they are studied with regular personal tutorial sessions with a clarinet professional.

In the past, there have been very good lists of drill books posted on this BBS. Here is a short sample...

Rubank (beginner, intermediate, advanced levels)
Klose' (intermediate to advanced level)
Baermann (both original and edited by Hite, intermediate to advanced level)
Langenus (intermediate to advanced level)

...and there are dozens of others.
