I know this topic has been discussed before when they first came out but just want to see how your reactions / opinions on these reeds are after 6 years!
I haven't played Vandoren for a very long time, so the Flow Pack is actually new to me. My observations of the first couple boxes:
1. Reeds are rather consistent across the board when they are first opened
2. They got easily clogged up with water / moisture after 5-10 minutes playing
3. Reeds got noticeably softer after a week of break-in
4. V12s seem to change more after opening that RL
Sometimes I do wonder about the logic behind Flow Pack: if you were to use a reed in conditions very different from where it's made, wouldn't it be better if you let the reeds "get used to" the climate you were in? The late Dieter Kloecker, for example, would leave his reeds for a year before making any adjustments to them.
Perhaps the solution is to unwrap everything when you first get the reeds and let them "localize"?

That last statement/question is exactly what I do. The reeds are going to adapt to whatever climate they are in regardless of whether you keep them in humidity control or not. It may help reduce warpage, but if a reed is going to warp it's going to warp. That's my opinion, ftw.
