Sorry for the late posting, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. For who live in or around Toronto, or anyone from outside Toronto (especially within a day's drive, eg: most of Ontario, parts of Quebec, Michigan, New York State, Massachussets) who wants an excuse to come here: For the first time in almost 20 years, there will be a FREE Toronto Clarinet Day on Sunday March 2nd, 2014 from 10:15 ET to 7:30 pm ET, University of Toronto Faculty of Music, 80 Queen's Park.
Though it's free, you have to register at 647-668-8943 or wychwoodclarinetchoir@yahoo.ca . Bring your own lunch. The last clarinet day held about 15 or 20 years ago was awesome, and you can get help with your playing problems as well as check out a range of clarinet products. My first clarinet teacher plays in the 7:30 pm concert at the end by the Wychwood Clarinet Choir, and Steve Fox is going to be there too. Those of you needing accomodations, there are two hotels (Intercontinential and a Marriot) within walking distance of the location and several within 20 min on the subway system in Toronto.

Looks interesting. Who was your clarinet teacher that will be performing?
