I am giving a recital in May and I have programmed the entire thing, or so I thought. I need exactly 1 hour minimum of playing time. I need to bulk up my list with one more piece just to make sure I meet the requirements. I'm looking for something about 7-10 minutes in length total.
My program is a bit eclectic. Kind of traveling through the different musical styles
Brahms Sonata No. 2
Luigi Bassi- Rigoletto Fantasie
Karg-Elert- Sonata Opus 110 (unaccompanied)
Artie Shaw- Concerto (got someone to arrange it for rhythm section so it should be pretty cool)
Chamber music is okay, but small, nothing more then a trio...too difficult to coordinate rehearsing. I suggested Poulenc but I was told it was too light for a Masters recital (plus I have 2 sonatas on there anyway), Debussy Premiere Rhapsodie is my staple audition piece (along with Mozart) so I've done it to death already with year. I'd like something new, I'm just looking for some suggestions I might be able to bring to my next lesson.

A whole world of great recital music out there to chose from. A good piece I have played and enjoyed is Honegger's Rapsodie for two flutes, clarinet, and piano. I can email you our recording if you are interested.

Poulenc is too light for a masters recital? I disagree, but I'm not the one calling the shots.
A few thoughts (some of my personal favorites):
Srul Irving Glick, Suite Hebraique A nice selection by a Canadian composer, just under 10 minutes
Carl Nielsen, Fantasy About 5 minutes
Gabriel Pierne, Canzonetta About 4 1/2 minutes
Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Six Studies in English Folk Song About 8 minutes
Steve Reich, New York Counterpoint About 11 minutes
Max Bruch/Charles Salinger, Kol Nidrei About 10 1/2 minutes
Malcolm Arnold, Sonatina About 9 minutes I enjoy this, but if Poulenc is too light, this one might be a problem.

You might take a look at the Burgmuller Duo for Clarinet and Piano. It runs about 11 minutes.
You can download a copy from imslp.
I've transcribed the clarinet part to Finale to make a more readable chart.
