Yesterday I read on the WalMart website (I've worked there since 2007) that the company is holding its third talent contest. Several winners get to perform at the annual stock holders meeting.
OK, I'm thinking of submitting my video of a Grshwin play-a-long of "How Long Has This Been Goin" On."
What other suggestions?
I could do the opening of "Rhapsody In Blue."
Any other suggestions? Classical? "Pop"

I'll have to look it up on You Tube. I could do a parody: "If You're So Smart, Why You Workin' At Wal Mart?"

After the mess at the Spokane Symphony strike this winter, the players ended up getting paid about the same as a Walmart clerk. About half have advanced degrees in performance, and they are all really great players.
They regard their symphony jobs as providing their core incomes, and all have multiple "day jobs."
No 1%-ers in that band.
