 shostakovich clarinet walzes

Two. One solo; other a duet. Played on Performance Today last night. New to me. Great stuff.

There are 4 in the set, all with piano: one each for flute and clarinet, one for flute and clarinet and one for piccolo and clarinet. All good, light programme pieces.

For the same configration: flute, clarinet and piano, I recommend Paul Harris' Waltzes. Unlike the Shostakovich pieces, they are originals and not arrangements. They deserve more exposure.
