 Early Selmer L Series Bb

Just received a Selmer L Series Bb clarinet serial number L35X. Seems to have the same specs as the K Series because it is before the BT. Does anyone know if this is in fact the same as the late K Series and is it a big bore instrument.

Yes, I think they are the same. I have both a middle-production K series (old logo) and a 3-digit L series. They are the same. However, the K has a slightly smaller bore. In any event BOTH clarinets are "big-bore."

Thanks Bill. I currently also have a Selmer Series 9* and the L Series is less resistant and more fun to play although they are both superb instruments.
