So....I am thinking about performing a recital later this year and I wanted your opinion on my program. I have between 60 - 75 minutes allowed and the preference would be to play closer to 60 minutes instead of 75. These are the pieces I have in my repertoire right now, and I want to know which of these pieces I should choose to make up 60 min.
Finzi Bagatelles (15 min)
Saint-Saens Sonata (16 min)
Reade Suite from the Victorian Kitchen Garden (11 min)
Poulenc Sonata (14 min)
Gaubert Fantaisie (8 min)
Lefebvre Fantaisie - Caprice (9 min)
Burgmuller Duo for Clarinet and Piano (haven't worked on it yet) (11 min)
Thanks!!!

Interesting programme. I would start with the Paul Reade and move the Finzi to start the "2nd half". I think having Poulenc, Saints-Seans and Burgmuller might be too much for the audience, especially if they are of the older generation. I would consider forgetting about the Burgmuller and keep with the slight Anglo-French programme. (Burgmuller being German)
Reade
Gaubert/Lefebvre
Saint-Seans
Finzi
Gaubert/Lefebvre
Poulenc
This would work better imo and allow for breaks between pieces for chatting or general resting.
