 Muhlfeld/Vibrato/Evidence
Author: graham

Following the recent discussions as to whether teeth marks on Muhlfeld's mouthpiece suggested he used vibrato, I sent an email to Keith Puddy asking what the connection might be. I have just received his response.

There seems to have been a misunderstanding regarding the CD liner notes, because he believes that no one has ever suggested that the tooth marks related to vibrato. They do no more than show he used a single lip embouchure. The only evidence he is aware of that Muhlfeld used vibrato is the anecdotal evidence from "a number of people who heard him".
