Hey Guys,
New member here. The reason for my joining is I just got a new clarinet, well new for me after not playing for many years and I had a question about the above mentioned mouthpiece. I tried to fond some info on it online, but nothing :( Anyone have any info? Is it good or bad? Worth anything if so how much? Would it be a waste to try and trade it or keep it? Any info would be helpful.

I think stock mps are not very good most of the times! You may want to try some vandorens or other mps brands! Depending on how much you are willing to invest!

I really don't know why instrument companies still sell mouthpieces with their professional instruments. I only know of one player that plays with his stock mouthpiece, and he's an assistant band director. If the mouthpiece works for you, great. But mouthpieces are so personal, I can't imagine that it would be the best personal choice for you.
I'd say just keep the mouthpiece as a backup, just incase your primary mouthpiece self destructs or gets abducted by aliens. I can't imagine stock mouthpieces will catch much in the market.

I have never heard of a Buffet "Classique" mouthpiece (which does not mean it doesn't exist). Does the mouthpiece have both the Buffet logo and the word "Classique" stamped on it? If you go back 30 or 40 years, the Buffet mouthpieces were actually made from Chedeville blanks and were available in a variety of facings but, again, these were not marked "Classique."
Best regards,
jnk
