Lately I've been trying to find somewhere on the internet where I can have some new clarinets sent to me so that I could try them out. I thought I had heard that Muncy Winds did that, but I can't find the option on their website. Can someone with experience help me?

If you call Muncy and tell them you want to try some clarinets on approval they will help you out.
The same deal can be arranged with most major music stores, Weiner Music in NY for example, or WWBW -- I think. WWBW is going through some reorganization, so I'm not sure where they are exactly.

I know WWBW cxan send you out a few at a time to try. As to Muncy, why not just give them a call and ask?

Many of the larger online dealers will allow you to return instruments within 30-60 days with only a minimal fee. For example you can return instruments to Woodwind Brasswind within 60 days and will only have to pay a fee of $10-$20 for cleaning.
I would recommend just calling the dealers you are interested in doing business with and inquiring about their return policy.

What about Lisa Clarinet Shop? I think she send clarinets (only buffets) for trial!

Thanks everyone, I can't believe I didn't think about calling them first! side note, one of the clarinets I wanted to try was the Buffet Festival, which WWBW doesn't have unfortunately...
