I'd like to hear some reactions from people who have purchased the extension for the A clarinet that enables it to go to the low c .....a basset clarinet. I'm considering purchasing a reformed boehm extension for my wurlitzer clarinet and would like to hear from someone who has one, to see if they like it!
I am an American living in Holland who decided to switch to Wurlitzer. Are there any readers of this page who live in Holland?
Thanks.

Karen,
I've heard much good of the extension.. I have a friend who designs them, and it's very popular.
I am not living in Holland, but I am going to live in Holland from September on (in Delft. studying at the TU). Am planning also to study music with Walter Boeykens in Rotterdam, dunno if it'll work out.
Anyway.. if you need any information about the basset clarinet extension, call up:

I think he's probably one the the best clarinet technician in Europe.
