Thanks Ken,
I read the discussion and they touched on some of ( at least what i considered are) the important issues:
How much importance do we give to composers interpretations of their own works.
The freedom (some would say disregard of the notation) that BG brings to the cadenza, apparently with Copland's blessing.
It is a fairly rare thing to see a living (at the time) composer interpreting a work with the person he wrote it for. I wish we could see more of this.
