(More for show) Has anybody heard or tried out this brand? If so, it is worth getting? It is only rated 2 stars.

To answer both your threads....
Start with the search button here.
Your list on the other thread...those are all good and I personally like several of them. If you really want to go with a custom maker....order one or two...or three...and try them. Most allow a two week or so trial and will take it right back without charge as long as you don't scratch them up.

I have used Pomarico mpcs for years and find them to be excellent. In addition to a variety of crystals I have and still use a Pomarico wooden mpc that has a very clean and focussed sound. I am now ordering the new Pomarico black crystal mpc and am confident that it too will perform as well as all my others. I'd recommend Pomarico to any clarinetists or saxophonists. John

Hate 'em.
Play them regularly on bass (3 of them), soprano and Eb clarinets, and (legit) alto and tenor saxes.
Can't stand 'em.
