I was wondering if there are still superb-quality Gigliotti mouthpieces around and if anyone has found some newer ones that can rival the vintage ones. Of course, I've heard of a decrease in quality since Mr. Gigliotti's passing, but my own Gigliotti P facing mp (2008) is quite exceptional, and I actually like it over a vintage P facing I also have from the '70's!

I just bought on a certain auction site a 20 year old Gigliotti P34 and a 'like new' (I don't know how much) P. I think the last one can't be older than 2-3 years. If I get them I will write again.

Even the last 10 years of his life his mouthpieces were coming in with specs all over the place. I know that as I'm friends with the couple who were in charge of checking the specs on the shipments.
I played a P for about 22 years.
