looking for piano accomp

I am in desperate need of the piano part to the Stamitz "Rondo" included in the Belwin Master Solos Intermediate Level. The concerto # is not listed and I am having difficulty finding a copy of the piano book on-line - looks like it is going out-of-print or perhaps Belwin is reissuing the series.

I have a young student polaying this piece on a recital onDec. 12th. If anyone has it, could you send me a pdf of the 5 page piano part? I am willing to purchase a copyif I can get it by mid week (Dec. 8th).

Are you talking about the 3rd Clarinet Concerto in Bb by Carl Stamitz? If so, you will find an online-buyable version at http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/score/StamitzClar3.html. They have an audio preview as well, so you may check whether it is what you are looking for.

As far as I know, that piece is still under copyright (that is why IMSLP does not have it), so trading copies via this group probably constitutes illegal file sharing.

Luyben Music, Eble Music and SheetMusicPlus all list the piano accompaniment in their online catalogs. That is no guarantee that they have it in stock. Because of its questionable availability, I would recommend you call, talk to a human, and verify availability. You can find their phone numbers here (not toll-free, BTW):

They are probably not open Sundays.

If neither of those work, you might also try calling Volkwein's Music (Pittsburgh) or Schattinger Music (St. Louis). You can find their phone numbers here.

While Stamitz went into the double digits with Clarinet Concertos, many of them are in Bb and many of those end with a Rondo, the Belwin Master Solos (now published by Alfred but you probably know that) probably have the Rondo movement from No. 3. As Noqu notes, you can verify that by listening to the excerpt at the site he provides. The third concerto is the most commonly available and you can find it at any of the music stores I identified above if you want to go that route. BTW, Alfred has two entries, with different stock numbers, for the Belwin Master Solos for Clarinet (Intermediate). I can't tell, however, whether these are two different editions/printings of the clarinet book or whether one is the clarinet book and the other the piano accompaniment. If all else fails, you could try contacting them. Their customer service number is here:

The concerto, itself, is not under copyright. It's probably not at IMSLP because no one has submitted it. You can find free midi versions on the internet. Specific editions, such as the version in the Belwin Master Solos, however, are copyrighted.
