OK, my triple case has officially been retired. Zippers broken off and both hinges broken. My clarinet instructor is going to hook me up with a Bam trekking double case at a reduced price. So, now I need something for the my Eefer.
I saw a case on everyones favorite auction site, but it's in Australia and I would play almost as much in shipping as I would be for the case. I have something I got a long time ago (I have no idea what brand the case is; its some generic replacement). The bummer is that I can't put the lig/cap in it (I can put the mouthpiece in a slot, but it won't hold the lig/cap). So, I'm looking for something else. For now, the mouthpiece and lig/cap is in my double case, but in one of the orchestras I play in, I will be playing eefer and alto sax (they have 2 other clarinetists already, so I will be a utility player). So, if I leave the mpc in the double case, I will no doubt forget to grab it for that rehearsal. The sax case doesn't have room for more stuff than I already have in it. I could put it in my bag of toys, but I don't want it just hanging out loosely in there.
Suggestions?
