Fobes Nova Bass Clarinet mouthpiece

Does anyone here use a Fobes Nova Bass mouthpiece? What are your opinions? I've read good things about Fobes clarinet mouthpieces, so I'd thought I'd look into the bass mouthpiece. Right now, I have a George M. Bundy (3) mouthpiece, which my local repair guy gave me a deal on. I'd like to upgrade to an intermediate model, and this fits my budget. The rest of my setup is Fibercell med-soft reeds and a Rovner Dark Ligature. My bass is an old Bundy low Eb resonite model.

Clark makes great mouthpieces at all levels. I would not hesitate to play it.

I've only been playing the bass clarinet since last September (after many years on the soprano Bb) and the instrument I use has a Fobes Nova with it, in addition to an old, well-worn Selmer C*. The mouthpiece works well for me; at the moment I'm using either Vandoren 4 or Rico LaVoz Hard with it and still experimenting. (The instrument belongs to the local high school, on loan to the community band that supports the music program--it needs work.)

I will say the the original player of the bass, who actually owns the mouthpiece, stated that she spent "hours" going through mouthpieces before settling on the Fobes. And I do get compliments on my tone quality, FWIW, and the Fobes is much better than the Selmer.

I have my bass students get a Fobes Basso Nova.
They're wonderful mouthpieces; my students do very well on them.

The Fobes Basso Nova bass clarinet mouthpiece will not disappoint since Mr Fobes make great mouthpieces,I am using his Fobes Basso Nova for 3 years already till now.
