Hi there,
I have a Selmer Series 9* B clarinet, that I tend to be a little low on (with my sloppy sax embouchure... So - I've been looking for a shorter barrell. They don't seem to come up very often, but now I found a Selmer Series 9* A barrell, that is slightly shorter than my B barrell.
My question to all of you clarinets out there, is if the bore would be the same on the A and B clarinets of the same model?
I will be very grateful for any help on this!

If it works, by all means use it.
I've got the opposite problem in that I play on the sharp side (which is rare being primarily a sax player - though I was taught clarinet by a great clarinettist/teacher) and use the 67mm barrel from my Series 9 Bb on both Bb and A full Boehms. I also found a 68mm 9* barrel on eBay which was new old stock, so I can use that without pulling out.
My most recent acquisition which is a Series 9* set have a 66mm barrel for the Bb and a 65mm one for the A - they're both too short for me.
I tend to use the same barrel on both instruments.

Generally speaking the bore is not the same. That being said if it works for you, use it.
Any thought to just fixing your embouchure?

Barrel bore dimensions for many Selmer models are alike for A and Bb.
This is not true for some other brands of clarinet.
You do not mention the mouthpiece/reed combination you are using. This could have some effect on intonation.

I agree, if it works go for it. I know several pro's that use one barrel for both Bb and A but most use different ones. I play a Selmer Signature Bb and Buffet R13 A so I need two different barrels, I use a Backun 67 on my Buffet A and a Backun 62.5 on my Selmer. You could contact Backun, or one of the other barrel makers, and ask them to send you several barrels that they think will works with your Selmer 9*. The Backun shop has thousands of original Selmer barrels for Series 9 and 10 in stock in every conceivable length. Call them at 604-205-5770.
