Yes, the pro tuba stance in lieu of everything else posted as well as the suggestion that there should be more than one per orchestra was a dead giveaway.

Speaking of Tuba, I ran across a couple of youtube videos of a tuba player performing Gabriel's Oboe!
I just had to check it out, to my surprise, it didn't sound bad at all, Of course, the person playing the tuba is a world class player, but still I never thought that Gabriel's Oboe would sound any good on a tuba! Live and learn...
