What a shame. At least they're not closing their doors and will try to re-oganize for next year. Let's hope the community comes to their aid and enough people that can will step up and help them out. Besides the musicians being out of work the whole community will be at a loss if they can't work it out for the future.

The sad part is that our 75th anniversary season is next year. I hope that we are back up and running by then to have a season next year to celebrate.
The CSO definitely has tremendous community support. The Spoleto Festival takes place here every year, and the arts are a huge part of the culture. So let's hope this re-structuring results in the orchestra being run by better people, and not cutting players...
