I've recently come across an instrument that I can't seem to find information on. It's not in my possesion, but the current owner described it as a LeBlanc Paris III Clarinet, which is etched on all four pieces. He also described it as a Pro model. Furthermore, I don't know if the word "Ebony" has something to do with this particular model, but it was mentioned. The serial number is 29709. I have found plenty of information on models with similar names by LeBlanc, but I'm not sure I've found what I'm looking for yet. If anyone has any info on what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate it. Specifically, the approxamate year it was made and a price. Thanks.

I am not familiar with the marking systems for the LeBlanc Symphonie [sp?] models, Dee is, and , while I believe that is what you have, I would bow to her judgement and any further info you may find. Don

I believe the Symphonie models all have the word on them. At times it was spelled with the French spelling and at others with the American. The Symphonie II (which is what I have) was made in the early to mid 1950s according to Dave Surbur at Leblanc in Kenosha, WI.
