I must be more jaded.... just like our birds are named, well, the birds. My clarinets are named... OK, they're called my babies. They've learned to sit still a lot better than my real babies, though.

Be careful, if you get an A clarinet your Bb might get jealous or it's possible you will end up with an Eb clarinet if they hit it off well. ESP

Of course if they are named Victoria and Dahlia, not much chance of offspring - unless Victoria has a "secret."

But V.D. might not be a good thing.

Just Me -- Some of us have worked long and hard to qualify for the title of "Dirty Old Man". Don't knock it!

Hey, I'm only 70 so I'm not old, at least I don't act or feel old and I'm just being realistic, that's all. People tell me I look in my 50s, I feel in my 40s, act in my 30s, maybe even 20s so you can't call me a dirty old man. I just know what happens when to clarinets get together. Welcome to 2009. ESP

What? No tone control?!
That's what happens when there isn't any safe clarinet ***.

Perhaps Safe Sax is better?

Ed: I work for a fantastic retirement community and can tell you that 70 is by no means old... and I'm 29, so that should tell you something about how vibrant folks your age really are! Hope you're enjoying every moment of it!
