Not so much, but it's literally a painful experience. The only way I can seem to get the notes to come out in tune is to bite. That's made it tough to play on my regular Bb cause it hurts to play on it. I accidentally got myself into a bind where I'll have to perform on the Eb in just a few weeks.
My lesson teacher won't be able to help me for another week. What exactly is the embouchure? And, I don't know about the biting thing. I have a tooth imprint on my lip on the inside of my mouth. It doesn't seem to go away.

First of all you should be using a iip saver. There are many things you can use but I recommend using floral tape, you can make it as thick or thin as you need and it's cheap. You can get it at any place that sells imitation flowers or at a florist. As far a biting that much, you may be using the wrong mouthpiece for you or the wrong strength reed. You might need to use a little more pressure, if at all, on the Eb but only a little. The embouchure is about the same as on Bb, just a smaller mouthpiece and maybe a slightly different angle in your mouth, perhaps a bit straighter but that varies with each player. Experiment with how much mouthpiece in your mouth, reed strength and the angle of the clarinet. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

I agree that you need to consider the strength of reed. I always find that Eb is a little bit more of a balancing act. The reed needs to be soft enough to be comfortable, yet with enough strength to not sag on the highest notes. Concentrate more on using the strength of your lips (embouchure) to support rather than biting with your jaw. Good luck!

Again I would recommend that you try using Bb reeds on your Eb mouthpiece for a richer tone quality and greater ease in playing in the upper register where you find it difficult.
Also, please read your earlier thread--lots of other good advice already given.....
