Very nice, and especially tasteful and mature for that age... more than just mastery of quick notes, which I tend to hear from lots of good younger players. I could do with less of the squiggly movement, but somehow I find it less irritating than most... possibly because he looks like he's actually enjoying the music rather than just trying to convince the audience that he's enjoying it.

This kid is a monster.
When he refines his playing he will give Riccardo a run for the money.

He seems worth waiting for. In the meantime, Riccardo can hold both postions (Chicago and Philly). He just played the past week with the CSO and by all accounts was an real success with everyone - orchestra, audiences, and mgmt.

I don't remember what I was doing when I was 12, but certainly not playing Mozart clarinet concerto with an orchestra.
Not sure he is heading towards an orchestral career, but I surely wish there will be enough room for him in the professional musical world.

Yes.
At last year's Japan Clarinet Society Festival, I put a few sample pieces for people to try. Han was nice enough to try a few and was really taken by one of them. That is what he is using now.
