Does anyone know who played the clarinet in Michael Small's original jazz and swing music for the "Nero Wolfe" mystery series? The series, set in the 1950s and made in Canada, ran in shortened form on A&E for 27 episodes in 2001-2002. It featured unusually good period-style music tracks, some of them genuine oldies (Louis Armstrong!) but others, including the excellent end credits music, by Small. No "Nero Wolfe" soundtrack CD has come out, though according to someone on an A&E blog, Small's drummer was Terry Silverlight, if that helps. The name Bunchy Music, c/o AETN, also comes up. I can't find Michael Small and ask because unfortunately, he died of cancer shortly after the series ended.
