A friend of mine is looking for a clarinet quartet version of the Grand Canyon Suite. Help?

Can't help you John, but I've got to ask: Which of the four clarinets gets to cover the wind machine part?

I think the instructions in the quartet score call for everyone to wear corduroy pants, and to rub their legs together at the appropriate time.

That guy who insists on playing a #7 reed gets to do the wind machine part.
That guy who insists on playing a #1 1/2 reed gets to do the donkey bray.

If a bassoonist can make a specific "Rite of Spring" reed, johng's suggestion makes loads of sense!
