Hi chorusgirl:
Roberto, at Roberto's Woodwinds in NYC, gave me a box of Roberto Clarinet Reeds made for his shop by Rigotti.
I tried the #4 reeds he had, they were too soft, so he had Rigotti make up a few boxes of #41/2, and they worked great! I've ordered 10 boxes of that strength & will use them professionally in NYC at all the venues where I work.
I highly recommend the Rigotti reeds I got at Roberto Woodwinds in NYC.
Disclaimer: I did receive a free box of "trial" reeds from Roberto, but I believe they are terrific and worth trying a box or two for yourself.
Good luck,
JJM

I play Rigotti Gold 3.5 Medium reeds on my bass clarinet and for me, they are the best bass clarinet reeds I have ever played. I buy them online from Roberto's Woodwinds. Great reeds, very consistant and play well out of the box.
